Malaysia’s commitment to advancing higher education, particularly in the realms of research and innovation, is evident in its Education Blueprint. Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM) has been a forerunner in this endeavour, particularly in cultivating a robust culture of research and innovation among its academics and students. A testament to this effort is the Invention, Innovation, and Design (IID) Exposition, a recurring event that allows UiTM community members to display their inventive and creative capabilities.
Building on the success of previous exhibitions like BiiDE2016, BiiDE2018, BiiDE2019, VI-BiiDE2022 and VI-BiiDE2024 , UiTM Pahang’s Research and Industrial Linkages Unit is now spearheading the next VIRTUAL INTERNATIONAL BREAKTHROUGH INVENTION, INNOVATION & DESIGN EXHIBITION (VI-BiiDE2026). This initiative underscores UiTM Pahang’s (encompassing both Jengka and Raub Campuses) dedication to positioning itself as a hub for research and innovation.
The VI-BiiDE 2026 serves as a vital platform, not just for UiTM’s community but also for a wider audience including professionals, government and private entities, and even Malaysian secondary and primary school students.
Offering a venue for a diverse group ranging from academics to students at various educational levels to display and potentially commercialize their innovative products and ideas.
Encouraging UiTM Pahang’s academic staff to embrace a high-impact, innovative culture and engage in research with commercial potential.
Providing UiTM’s academics, staff, and students with opportunities to immerse themselves in the culture of innovation, invention, and research.
Positioning UiTM as a leader in innovation and research, highlighting its commitment to these areas at a national and international level.
